Cláudia Azevedo joined Europe Jacques Delors in May 2023 as a Policy Analyst. Cláudia supports the work of Pascal Lamy, Geneviève Pons and Colette van der Ven on issues related to the greening of the EU’s trade policy, focusing on the trade-environment-development triangle.
Prior to joining Europe Jacques Delors, Cláudia worked as a trainee at the European Commission’s DG TRADE, assisting the unit in charge of trade-related agriculture, food and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) matters. In the past, she was also an intern at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the OECD in Paris, following primarily the OECD Directorates for Trade and Agriculture, Development Co-operation and Environment, and worked as a Paralegal at Ericsson.
Cláudia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Porto and an Advanced LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University, specialising in peace, justice and development.
She is fluent in Portuguese and English.
