Sébastien Maillard was a journalist at La Croix, where he covered the campaign of Emmanuel Macron. He was previously a correspondent of the newspaper in Brussels and then in Rome, making numerous reportages across the continent.
He is a specialist in European affairs which he taught at Sciences Po Paris and Boston College. He is also involved in various actions for Europe (EuropaNova, Comece, Robert Schuman House), and wrote "What Have We Made of Europe?" (edited by Salvator, 2013). He is also the co-author of "Faire l’Europe dans un monde de brutes" with our president, Enrico Letta, published in September 2017.
He is currently Director of the Jacques Delors Institute.
