Giorgio Gallizioli
Associate researcher, fisheries and ocean governance

Giorgio Gallizioli holds a law degree from the University of Pisa. After a professional experience as a University researcher, barrister and administrator within the Sardinia Regional Council, he joined the European Commission in 1982 where he spent more than 30 years dealing with legal and social issues within DG Agriculture and DG Maritime Affairs & Fisheries. He has published several papers on European law.  He currently cooperates with the Nanterre Network and CIELO Laboral and joined Europe Jacques Delors in December 2022 as an associate researcher with a focus on the Blue Economy.
